The Story

When confident slacker Danny Beeman ("Whitney's" Chris D'Elia) takes Justin on as a roommate, Danny unwittingly inherits Justin's group of romantically challenged friends. Seeing himself as the ultimate player, Danny decides to teach the crew (whom he dubs "The Undateables") everything he knows about "the game of love."
For their first lesson, Danny takes the guys to an event hosted by his sister, Leslie, who is a single mom with dating difficulties of her own. At first, Danny's advice seems to pay off big-time: the shy guy talks to a girl, the no-filter dude learns it's never okay to ask a woman when she's due(!) and his nebbish roommate, Justin, goes home with a mystery woman. It's not until the next day that they figure out it was Danny's sister, Leslie! Talk about a bunch who just can't get lucky!

The Story

Set in downtown New York in 1900, 'The Knick' is a new Cinemax drama series from Academy Award and Emmy-winning director Steven Soderbergh. It is centered on the Knickerbocker Hospital and the groundbreaking surgeons, nurses and staff who work there, pushing the bounds of medicine in a time of astonishingly high mortality rates and zero antibiotics.
Academy Award and Emmy nominee Clive Owen stars as Doctor John Thackery, a brilliant surgeon pioneering new methods in the field, despite nursing a severe addiction to cocaine. He leads a team of doctors including his protege Dr. Everett Gallinger; the young Dr. Bertie Chickering Jr.; and Algernon Edwards, a promising surgeon who's been recently thrust upon him. The lively cast of characters at the hospital also includes Cornelia Robertson, the daughter of its benefactor; surly ambulance driver Tom Cleary; Lucy Elkins, a fresh-faced nurse from the country; the crooked manager Herman Barrow; and Sister Harriet, a nun with who isn't afraid to speak her mind.

"Sons of Anarchy" cast will stop by "CONAN" for their first-ever joint talk show appearance. Series creator Kurt Sutter will be joined by the show's stars, including Charlie HunnamTommy FlanaganJimmy SmitsDrea de Matteo and Mark Boone Junior, on the TBS show November 11.

More actors of the FX series will be announced later to join the gang for the TV interview. The "CONAN" appearance comes just before the "Sons of Anarchy" impending farewell with the series finale scheduled to air on December 9.

Conan O'Brien has previously welcomed the casts of "Orange is the New Black", "The Walking Dead", "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and "Breaking Bad" to his show for a group appearance.

Sutter, who also executive produces the crime drama series, was recently rushed from the set to an L.A. hospital to undergo emergency appendectomy. He later posted on Instagram a picture of his removed appendix. He has since been back to work as he wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, October 29, "I'm back. Day 9. #soa #finalride."

Charlie Sheen on Rumored Return to 'Two and a Half Men': 'I Would Definitely Do It'

The 'Anger Management' actor says he's willing to return for the series finale of the CBS show if he's asked to because he owes 'it some measure of closure.'

Charlie Sheen is indeed hoping to have a chance to return to "Two and a Half Men" before the show ends. The actor previously revealed that he had approached his former show's producers with an idea to appear on the show's finale and now once again expressed his desire to make a comeback to give it a closure.

Asked by "Extra" if he would consider returning to the long-running series, the "Anger Management" star replied, "I would definitely do it, yeah, yeah. If they'll still have me, I will be there. Yeah, I owe it some measure of closure. I owe it to the fans... I just think it makes sense."

He said he had "a brilliant idea" for the finale, but didn't want "to give it away." He went on teasing, "It's the type of moment I think people would talk about for a long time and it wouldn't get in anybody's way. Think it would be a nice tip of the hat... they know I want to do it and I know they're open to it, so, guess we're just a meeting away from making it happen."

Talking about his show which is currently airing on FX, Sheen revealed his dream guest star. "I would love to have Jack Nicholson appear on our 100th episode because he did the movie. That's the reason we're all here," he said.

"Anger Management" TV series is based on the 2003 hit comedy film of the same name starring Nicholson and Adam Sandler.

CBS has confirmed that the 12th season of "Two and a Half Men" which debuts October 30 will be the last for the show.

In other news, "Two and a Half Men" star Jon Cryer talked about working with Charlie Sheen and his problems which culminated with his firing from the show. Cryer remembered "watching him get married over again, probably a little too quickly," and then Sheen was arrested for assaulting his then-wife Brooke Mueller. "I didn't see the arrest coming, that's for certain," he told HuffPost Live.

Cryer said he frequently worried for Sheen's safety because of his alcohol and drug problems. "Anyone who's had an addict as a friend knows you live with this fear -- is the next phone call gonna be the one where something horrible has happened?" he opened up. "I had that a lot with Charlie, and it was very, very tough to live with."

He said he tried to help Sheen, but it was to no avail. "Charlie and I had a couple of conversations," he recalled. "Again, when you're dealing with somebody dealing with a substance abuse problem, it's tough to get through [to them]. Clearly I didn't at the time."

Cryer went on sharing, "There were several times when, you know, you're at work and you can see somebody's off and that something's wrong, and Chuck [Lorre, the showrunner] would come up to me and say, 'Is he okay? Can you talk to him? Because I've already talked to him. Is there anybody who you think can talk sense into him?"

Someone feels ignored when "The Vampire Diaries" returns with a new episode next week. [SPOILER ALERT!] Following his return to Mystic Falls, Damon finds things are not quite as he expected with Elena losing her memories with him.

In a preview for the said outing, Damon sarcastically tells Alaric that he's "great" now that he's back and Elena forgets that she ever loved him. It's not the worse as Damon later is seen waking up with a bloody shirt, apparently after being knocked out.

Enzo is captured by Tripp, who is on a mission of dealing with vampires. Tripp (guest star Colin Ferguson) demands that Enzo tell him where his "vampire friends" are. After learning that Enzo has been captured by Tripp, Caroline teams up with Matt and Stefan to rescue him before Tripp learns their true identities.

Armed with some new information about her past, Sarah (guest star Gabrielle Walsh) breaks into Tripp's office and is surprised when she finds Matt there, doing some investigating of his own. When Alaric realizes that Jo (guest star Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) can't be compelled, he asks Elena to do some digging into her background.

Meanwhile, Elena is forced to deal with the consequences of her actions, and Jeremy hits rock bottom, lashing out in a destructive way. Lastly, Damon is determined to take matters into his own hands when he receives some upsetting news.

"The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get" airs Thursday, November 6 at 8/7c on The CW.
