Shakira Teams Up with Fisher-Price for Cute Toy Collection

Just in time for the holidays, Shakira has partnered with Fisher-Price for a new line of developmental toys.

And we’ve already added the adorable playthings to our kids’ holiday wish lists.

The pop star, 37, worked with the kiddie company to design six cute and colorful toys — which, of course, include a soft soccer ball that plays music — as part of her First Steps collections.

“When it comes to baby’s development, the early years are the most important,” Shakira says. “Each play experience is an opportunity for baby to learn about the world around them.”

The mom-to-be will have plenty of little hands to test out the new products. Shakira, who is already mom to 21-month-old son Milan, and her soccer star boyfriend Gerard Piqué are expecting their second child together.

But that’s not all Shakira is offering her fans. Parents around the globe can get a glimpse at her experiences with motherhood through a 12-part web series curated by Fisher-Price — she’ll touch on everything from her own family to tips and tricks for fellow mamas.

Clearly, the partnership is a natural fit for Shakira, who has said motherhood has changed her life’s direction.

“Having a baby helps you focus on what’s really important,” Shakira says. “By playing, we learn so much about our baby and ourselves.”
